Obituary for Mary B. Jackson (Jackson)

Mary B. Jackson, 91, died peacefully at her residence on Monday, December 29, 2014. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Charlton, NY and was the daughter of the late George T. and Clara (Jennings) Jackson. Ms. Jackson had been a long time resident of Alplaus, NY. She worked as a librarian for many years at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, NY. Following her retirement she enjoyed traveling around the world. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the Scotia-Glenville Senior Center where she loved to go out and about with the Happy Wanderers. She was a member of the Alplaus Methodist Church and the Alplaus Ladies Auxillary.
She was the sister of Victor Jackson of Charlton, NY, Janet Aniolek of Rotterdam, NY and the late Elizabeth Plummer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 3:30 PM at Sweetman Cemetery, Charlton Road in Charlton,
There will be no public calling hours.
