Condolence From: Carol Ann Lowes
Condolence: God rest Awesome Annie! She was such a delight and such a comfort during my choir years at St. Ed's and during all the marvelous adventures that she undertook--singing her heart and soul out in choir for all those years; preparing the little ones to receive First Holy Communion; teaching religious education and leading the children in the annual Christmas Pageant; keeping the gifts for Families during the holidays straight (and keeping us who volunteered to help on the straight and narrow!) Annie was kind and considerate in her cooking and serving the needy at St. John's-Saint Ann's in Albany. She made everyone feel valued and wanted; and she was FULL OF FUN and shared this with us. Annie was willing to help in any situation, and she made it an enjoyable endeavor.
Goodbye my forever friend.
Love,
Carol Ann XOX

Condolence: My condolences go out to the O’Rourke family on the loss of such a caring, loving mom/grandma. When I became friends with Kathy back in the70’s, I was quickly welcomed into a wonderful family full of fun-loving people who know how to laugh and live life to the fullest. Mom O’Rourke was always welcoming and caring when our gaggle of girls would drop by to pick-up Kathy for one of our adventures. She had a way of making you feel like part of the family and that she really liked you, no matter how silly we were! I am so grateful for so many years of memories and I feel blessed to have known her… she will be missed.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Your mother/grandmother/great-grandmother was a very special person who gave so willingly to others and always had a kind word. I will always remember her smiling face at the drive-thru window - always making it a great way to start the day! She definitely left the world a better place.

Condolence: Grandma O was a wonderful person, who constantly made me feel like I was part of the family throughout the whole time I knew Leah. I still remember when she took us out to dinner, just because. She was a very thoughtful person, and I hope to be just like her. May she rest in peace, my thoughts are with the family.

Condolence From: Father John Lanese
Condolence: My deepest condolences and sympathy to the entire O'Rourke Family.
During my thirteen years at St. Edward's I saw the dedicated love and service and joy that Ann live and shared with those around her - in choir, an especially during the time from Thanksgiving to Christmas when she so ably organized, and shared in leading the Christmas gift program for families. Her living of the Gospel was truly inspirational! So many of the community are blessed in being able to call Ann- Friend! I count myself among them!
Know that she rests in the Lord's peace, and will pray for, watch over and bless those who she loved in her journey of life! Rest in Peace, Ann.
