Condolence: Dick was an important mentor to me when I was a fledgling financial aid director. He was extremely well-regarded by his colleagues, and his wit and wisdom will be sorely missed by the financial aid community. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I want you to know how much Dick meant to his financial aid friends. I remember he taught (tried) me how to jitterbug at a NYSFAAA conference many years ago. He always brought a smile to our faces whether we were dancing or being competitive during the NYSFAAA Novice Training olympics. He touched a lot of hearts and we so much appreciate your sharing him with us for so many years.
