Obituary for Madeline F. Bradley

Madeline F. Bradley, age 78, of Midline Road, died on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn in Albany, NY. She was born on September 6, 1938 in Schenectady, NY and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bernice ”Tootsie” Salvino. Madeline was a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. She lived in Ballston Lake since 1963 and was formerly of Schenectady. Madeline was a loved communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church where she loyally sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and travel. She recognized nature’s beauty and embraced the birds and their unique calls. Her grandchildren were her golden treasures and she was devoted to their experiences by attending concerts and sports. Madeline had a giving heart and she volunteered at Shaker Heritage Society.
She was the beloved wife of the late William D. Bradley who died in 1996; loving mother of Donna (Gregg) Thomas, and John Bradley and Thomas (Kathy) Bradley; grandmother of Shaun, Jesse (Kevin), Aubrey, Sarah, and Ethan. Madeline was happily looking forward to the birth of her first great grandson, Burke. Sister of Barbara Ann Salvino, Robert Salvino and the late Frank Salvino. She is also survived by her close cousin, Thomas Grigoliet and several other extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.
Funeral will begin on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and then process to Our Lady of Grace Church, 73 Midline Rd., Ballston Lake, where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. .
Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, NY.
