Obituary for Fannie Huber

Dateline: Scotia, NY
Fannie “Jean” Huber,79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Glendale Nursing Home in Scotia, NY. She was born on February 27, 1938 in Ballston Spa, NY and was the daughter of the late Charles D. Huber and Ivis (Chard) Huber.
Jean was a Ballston Spa native and a life-long resident. She spent her career working as a dietary specialist at the Ballston Spa and Saratoga Hospitals.
Jean enjoyed the quiet life, but loved to keep company with her feline friends. She was known for her love of animals and opened her home to any stray cat that came her way.
Jean was the beloved sister of the late Violet Miller, the late Dorothy Blake and the late Ernest Huber.
Jean was the loving aunt of Russell (Sandy) Miller, Donna (Basil) Dobush, David Blake, Jeffrey (Lynne) Blake, Diane Blake, Gary Blake, Michael (Patricia) Blake and Colleen Miller and the late Karen Miller, Kurt Miller and Randy Blake; and caring great aunt of several great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
Rev. Derik Justin Roy, Jr. will officiate.
Interment will follow at Ballston Spa Village Cemetery, Ballston Ave., Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
