Obituary for Annemarie Keil (Kulbako)

Annemarie Cermak Keil, 62, of Ballston Lake, passed into eternal life on May 8, 2017, peacefully surrounded by her family. Born Annemarie Carol Kulbako on December 26, 1954, she attended St. Luke's School in Schenectady and was a 1973 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Schenectady. She also attended Mildred Elley Business School. Known as Annie, she was a longtime bartender and manager at Kristel Inn in Burnt Hills from 1984 to 1999 and co-founded, owned and operated Main Street Tavern in Ballston Lake from 1977 to 1982. In addition, Annie was a softball player and avid bowler.
She is survived by her loving husband John Keil of Ballston Lake; daughters Leah Dimler (Michael) of Glen Ellyn, IL, Samantha (John) Daniels of Redmond, WA; stepson Casey (Becky) Keil of Bristol, CT; four grandchildren: Ian Dimler, Hannah Daniels, Sloane Dimler and Cassidy Daniels; brothers Joseph (Elaine) Kulbako of Bradenton, FL and James (Cathy) Kulbako of Rotterdam. She is also survived by two nieces and several cousins. She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Justina Kulbako.
Service will be private at the family's discretion.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
