Peter C. Fort, 77, of Riverview Road died on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Ellis Hospital following an illness. He was born on October 22, 1939 in Schenectady, NY to the late Francis T. and Marjorie (Colcord) Fort.
Peter had been employed as the Director of Administration for the New York Public Service Commission until his retirement. Following retirement, Peter served as a real estate broker. Peter always lived by the creed and passed the message to “keep the faith.”

Peter was the beloved husband of Sandra S. (Nelson) Fort, devoted father of Sharon (Chad) Rost, doting grandfather of Christopher Smith and caring brother of Jean Flower. He is also survived by his nieces.
