Obituary for Patricia A. Rybaltowski (Brown)
Patricia A. Mayo Rybaltowski, née Brown, of Old Harbor Drive, died peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. She was born on November 5, 1930 in Troy, NY. Patricia was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Lynch) Brown.
Pat was a NYS licensed Daycare Operator and homemaker. She took great pride in her children and the fact that they understood the value of compassion for others, education and hard work. She would gladly trade places with any of her children on the absolute worst day of their lives to ease their pain…they always came first, and she wanted what was best for them. She will be terribly missed as she passes to her final reward.
Patricia was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Mayo and the late Edmund Rybaltowski; adoring mother of Mary Kay (Paul) Rickard, Michelle (Peter) Daubney, Patty (Mark) Cardin, Joseph (Liz) Mayo, Jr., Gregory Mayo, Andrew (Douglas) Mayo, the late Nancy Katz and the late Ellen (Stephen) Maswich; loving grandmother of Amy Rickard House, Meagan McGovern, Courtney Katz, Jeffrey Daubney, Kate Daubney, Briana Rogers, Natalie Mayo, Joseph Mayo III, Olivia Mayo, James Mayo, Benjamin Mayo and Grace Mayo and beloved great- grandmother to several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her sisters Helen Vogt, Mary Nardolillo, Julia Carney, Rose Ziccardi and Connie Reo as well as her brothers Kyran Knapp and Michael Brown.
At the request of and out of respect for our Mother's wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be private. "My children have been through enough!"
The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful, giving and caring staff at the Hospice Inn for their compassionate care to their Mother.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of our loving mother to The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 S Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208, or Make-A-Wish Foundation 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205
