Lois "Terry" Aldrich
Lois N. “Terry” Aldrich, age 94, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Glendale Nursing Home. She was born on March 20, 1924 in Niagara Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late Preston Hibbard Saxton Chapman and Alice Gertrude Cornell and was the beloved wife of 67 years of the late Douglas Aldrich.

In 1948 she began teaching mechanical drawing in the Waverly school district and did so until 1951 when she married her beloved Douglas.
Lois was an active and artistic soul. She loved creating whether it be one of her amazing dishes in the kitchen, a detailed piece of needle work, an ornate sewing project or a beautiful painting. Lois was also an active NYS officer with the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Lois is survived by her daughter Betsey L. (Scott) Snyder of Clifton Park and adored granddaughter Alexis R. (Robert K.) Platt of Washington, D.C.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
