Obituary for Nancy Berlin (Hedberg)
Nancy H. Berlin, age 77, of Jonesville, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born on May 21, 1940 in North Plainfield, NJ and was the daughter of the late Paul and Francena (Fry) Hedberg.
Nancy was a joyful and generous soul. She spent countless hours selflessly volunteering in the community, especially at the local Jonesville Food Pantry, STEP where she was a “barn mom” and at her beloved Shenendehowa United Methodist Church.
Nancy was active in many civic groups including VASA Tegner Lodge 109 (Swedish group) and as a volunteer at SPAC.
She loved to read, swim, camp and be out in the green of nature.
But beyond her social groups and love of helping others, her supreme joy was her family. She was a warm and nurturing mother, grandmother and wife. Everyone was well loved, cared for and supported. She loved cooking for her children and grandchildren, often up and bouncing around the kitchen making sure everyone else had what they needed at the table before she would sit and enjoy.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Frank; loving children Paul (Gloria) Berlin, Adam Berlin and Allison (Richard) Armstrong and caring grandchildren Miranda Berlin, Kristina Berlin, Morgan Armstrong and Thomas Armstrong.
