Lorene C. Henry, age 60, of Loudonville, died on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn in Albany, NY. She was born on September 28, 1957 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late William L. and Joan L. (May) Nichols.
A graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Lorene went on to have a successful career as a dental lab technician.
Lorene was a woman of many talents and strove to perfect each skill she took on. She loved crafting, woodworking, gardening and cooking. She was an independent woman who excelled in whatever she did and loved to tackle a new challenge.
Lorene’s greatest love was her family and she was endlessly devoted to them. She had a huge heart, a wonderful sense of humor and a loyal, selfless spirit.
She was the loving mother of Tracy Henry of Latham and Dustin Henry of Colonie; caring sister of Deborah (Gary) Ballard, Matthew (Jo Anne) Nichols, William (Joyce) Nichols, Peter Nichols, Paul Nichols and Barbara (Al) Scher and devoted aunt to many loving nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9:00 am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 596 Clifton Park Center Rd., Clifton Park, NY
