Adrienne Kurowski (Schomp)

Adrienne S. Kurowski, 92, died peacefully on Mother’s Day morning at Kingsway Nursing Center, with her two daughters by her side. She was born on July 12, 1925 in Brookline, MA and was the daughter of the late Donald and Florence Schomp.
Adrienne grew up in Utica, NY and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy High School. Upon graduation, she worked for the Bell Telephone Company for 10 years prior to starting a family.
In 1950 she married her partner for life, Frank T. Kurowski, and together they raised their two daughters and operated their business, Kurowski TV and Radio Repair in New Hartford, NY. While helping to operate the business, she was a committed mother and homemaker. She was also a talented artist and loved to sing at home and in church. Her positive outlook on life was a gift to friends and family alike. Adrienne was a past member of the New Hartford First United Methodist Church. In 2012, she relocated to Glenville, NY.
Adrienne was a loving wife of the late Frank T. Kurowski; beloved mother of Kathleen (Anthony Semproni) Kurowski, Diane (Steven) Skibinski; sister of Donna (the late Joseph) Baker; and adoring grandmother of Ryan and Erik Skibinski.
A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, May 16th at 7 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY 12019. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, NY.
