Obituary for Deacon Martucci

Dateline: Glenville, NY
Deacon M. Martucci, age 16, of Birch Lane became our angel in Heaven on Friday, August 17, 2018. Deacon was born in St. Mary’s, Georgia on December 14, 2001 and was the beloved son of Michael D. and Sharon E. (Barris) Martucci and treasured brother of Cannon D. Martucci.

He is also lovingly survived by; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Debbie Barris and John and Susan Czarick; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Susan Martucci; his aunt, Karen (Jamie) Del Gaudio; his uncles, Joseph (Nicole Mazzella) Barris and Bryan (Jodi) Martucci; cousins, James, Jesse, Sara and Lucas. Deacon also leaves behind countless beautiful and loving friends and extended family.

Deacon was approaching his Junior year at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Senior High School. He was a talented athlete who played football and baseball, ran indoor track, and aspired to play hockey this winter. He loved to hike, bike, swim, and be outdoors. He fiercely loved his family and friends and adored his dogs, Molly and Boomer. There are not enough words in the world, to express how much Deacon is loved. He was kind, courageous, witty, and had the greatest laugh. His kind eyes and amazing smile warmed our hearts each day. Deacon was a beautiful, bright light in this world and will be missed, terribly. With great love, he will live in our hearts, until we see him again.
